I went and looked at that blog, and as far as I can tell, it looks like they have a program that crawls the web, identifies other weblogs, pulls out random posts to link to, and then adds a snippet of introductory, possibly irrelevant, text (as here, &quot;Here&#039;s something you don&#039;t see every day...&quot;).  Other intro texts include things like, &quot;Here&#039;s a tip,&quot;  and &quot;As if...&quot; and &quot;Is the quote machine broken?&quot; and so on.  I clicked around but there doesn&#039;t seem to be any real explanation.  If I had to guess, it&#039;s all automated -- note that your post got filed under &quot;Politics&quot; on that blog: probably it just goes off of keywords like &quot;Washington&quot; and &quot;Politics&quot;, thereby missing the point of the post. :)</description>
